Whitefish Lake Golf Club Announces Addition of La Jolla at Whitefish Lake Restaurant & Catering Service
Partnership with NeuEra Hospitality
Pierson, MI— Friday, July 26, 2024 — Whitefish Lake Golf Club is pleased to announce a much-anticipated partnership with a growing restaurant group in cooperation with Martin Bernal and NeuEra Hospitality – La Jolla (Jewel) at Whitefish Lake, a fusion of Mexican and American grill. This Saturday, July 27, 2024, the golf club will host an invitation only tasting event, hosted by the owners of the golf club and the new restaurant team.
“We are thrilled to have found a hospitality group to partner with us that not only offers delicious food and beverage options, but who is committed to providing excellent service for the dine in, carry out and event catering trifecta,” said Rick Rookstool, Owner at Whitefish Lake Golf Club.

Putting Pierson on the Foodie Map

In recent months, we have met with many residents and with people and groups who golf with us, and their requests have been heard. Martin Bernal, a professional chef and multi-site restaurant owner, in cooperation with NeuEra Hospitality, has committed to opening La Jolla at Whitefish Lake for dining and catering service year-round. Whitefish Lake Golf Club is planning for growth in terms of guests and visitors to the area who come to both golf and sample the delicious fare.
 Martin Bernal adds, “We are excited to add La Jolla to our growing portfolio of restaurants that includes three restaurants in Holland, MI and another location in Alma, MI. Menus will include breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner items as well as a full beverage menu. Selections include the Latin and American fare as well as local favorites like tacos, grilled sandwiches and wraps, steak, salmon, chicken, fajitas and pasta.”

Important Dates to Know

La Jolla at Whitefish Lake Golf Club is committed to open full time for dining and catering on August 1 with the Grand Opening Event to come later in August. More information is forthcoming about the Grand Opening event. It was an audacious goal to find an exceptional partner this summer and get the new restaurant open while golf season and event season is still in full swing (pun intended). That goal has been accomplished and we sincerely hope that the surrounding community will appreciate and frequent the new restaurant.
